Construction Induction (White Card)
The OHS Regulations 2007 require all workers on construction sites to complete a safety induction program and register with the Victorian WorkCover Authority. Individuals applying for registration must have completed a nationally recognised course.
Lock Out Tag Out
A Lockout/Tagout system provides protection for everyone in the plant. Its success depends upon each student’s knowledge and understanding of locks and tags used on the job.
Low Voltage Rescue & Perform CPRLow Voltage Rescue
There are two components to this course: a nationally recognised component which will provide learners with the confidence and competence required to provide CPR on an unconscious casualty. The not nationally recognised component focuses on the practical skills required of a learner to perform a rescue from a low voltage equipment or conductors using a low voltage rescue kit.
Manual HandlingShift Materials Safely using Manual Handling Methods
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to shift loads using manual handling methods, including assessing the risks associated with relocating the load, planning the relocation process and carrying out the relocation in accordance with the plan.
The target group is any person who conducts inspections of completed or partly completed products produced by others. Inspection is carried out according to a site quality plan or specifications; it applies to a range of manufacturing enterprises; and requires application of a range of measuring equipment/devices/tools.
Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel - LVR
The course is designed to cover mandatory requirements of rescue from a live LV panel and how they apply in the context of transmission, distribution or rail work functions. It encompasses responsibilities for, health, safety and risk management processes at all operative levels and adherence to safety practices as part of the normal way of doing work.
