Provide First Aid
This nationally recognised course describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. The unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, include community and workplace settings. There are legislated requirements in each state in relation to this training. These requirements will be documented in each states approved code of practice for first aid.
Successful completion of a pre-work booklet, which requires to be handed in at the commencement of course.

HLTAID003 Provide first aid
Assessment is conducted by using a range of scenarios and orally / written questions.
Delivery of training is completed face to face and may be done on a customer’s site or in a Blackwoods training centre.
